1950's Shaheen Fashion Show

In the late-1940s, Alfred Shaheen established Surf 'n Sand Hand Prints, his first print plant, in a Quonset hut on the outskirts of Honolulu. By the early-1950s, Shaheen was printing more than 60,000 yards of fabric per month and producing his Surf 'n Sand sportswear, which is one of the most sought-after vintage labels today.

Shaheen's Surf 'n Sand Label

Each piece in our collection was inspired by Shaheen's Surf 'n Sand label. From baby dolls to classic tees, all pieces are made from high-quality cotton.
Each piece has been hand-screened and includes Shaheen's signature and the name and year of the vintage print.
