This wonderful Shaheen print originated in 1955 and features Japanese Kokeshi dolls, pagodas and bonsai hand-screened onto 100% cotton. The selvedge is marked "Copyright 1957 by Alfred Shaheen Ltd. 'Kokeshi Dolls' Handprinted - Waikiki, Hawaii." It has five Chinese coin buttons, chest pocket, and bears the Shaheen's of Honolulu label. The shirt is in good condition with strong fabric, but it has overall fading and fading to the neckline and shoulder areas.
