Shaheen's Antique Tapa was adapted from an authentic Hawaiian tapa in the Bishop Museum and hand-screened onto heavy cotton. It was the first Shaheen tapa created and one of his most famous prints. The navy Antique Tapa shown here has five Chinese coin buttons, matching chest pocket, and bears the Alfred Shaheen Hawaiian Crest label. It is in excellent condition with no flaws.
